Men's Jacket/Shorts and Pants Sewing Template, Size MUU (34-36-38-40)

Men's jacket, shorts, and pants pattern that includes a semi-fitted, partially interfaced, lined jacket with shoulder pads, sleeve headings, side panels, back vents, and two-piece sleeves with button/buttonhole trim. The jacket has no side seams and a collar with a collar band. The straight-legged shorts or pants have a button waistband, carriers, side front pockets, crotch shield, inside button tab, and fly zipper with stitched hems. The pattern also includes welt pockets, purchased top, shirt, tie, and belt.

Recommended fabrics for this pattern are Men's Suiting, Linen, Gabardine, and Flannel. Under Collar A requires Felt, while Pockets A, B, C, D, Waistband Facing, Fly, and Crotch Shield C, D need Cotton Twill. Interfacing should be Hair Canvas, and lining fabrics are recommended for the lining of A, B. Not suitable for obvious diagonals and can be made with or without nap.

Notions required for this pattern include 1/2" Shoulder Pads, Sleeve Heads, two 3/4" Buttons, nine 5/8" Buttons for A, B, along with 1 1/8 yds. of 1/4" Twill Tape for A and Four 5/8" Buttons, a 7" Zipper, and One Hook & Eye Closure for C, D. The pattern is available in sizes MUU (34-36-38-40) with an Advanced sewing rating.
