Suitable fabrics for the jacket and pants include heavy wools, fleece, denim, twill, wool flannel, and gabardine. Broadcloth is recommended for lining the jacket. Use nylon fusible knit interfacing and avoid fabrics with obvious diagonals. Notions needed for the jacket and pants include shoulder pads, buttons in various sizes, and zippers.
