Men's Jacket and Pants Sewing Template - Size MUU

Fitted and lined men's jacket and pants: This pattern features a tailored jacket with a collar, shoulder pads, side panels, upper and lower welt pockets, as well as inside welt pockets. It also includes a button tab on the inside right pocket, back and sleeve vents, two-piece sleeves, button and buttonhole trim, and a front button closure. The jacket has no side seams for a clean and modern look. The pants in this pattern are fitted and tapered, sitting below the waist with a waistband, belt carriers, side pockets with bands, a back button welt pocket, and a fly zipper closure.

The facings for the jacket, as well as the waistband, are finished with bias binding. Recommended fabrics for this pattern include gabardine, crepe, men's suiting, and flannel. For contrast, satin or faille can be used. Interfacing materials required for this pattern include nylon fusible knit and hair canvas. The pants lining should be made using twill, and the lining/underlining fabric is also necessary. This pattern is not suitable for fabrics with obvious diagonals.

Notions needed for this pattern include one 3/4" button, nine 5/8" buttons, and 1/2" shoulder pads for the jacket. The pants require a 7" zipper, two 5/8" buttons, and a hook & eye closure. This pattern comes in sizes MUU (34-36-38-40) and mxx (40-42-44-46), with a sewing rating of advanced.
