The Philips Avent breast shells SCF157/02 are ultra-soft and designed to be worn inside your bra for protection against chafing and to collect excess breast milk. These comfortable breast shells provide relief for sore, cracked nipples and engorgement during or between pumping and nursing sessions.

The inner shell is ventilated and cushioned with soft silicone, gently applying pressure on the areola to create a slow trickle of milk. The outer shell prevents leaks and holds the collected milk until it can be discarded or transferred to a bottle. Both the silicone shells and pads can be sterilized using a Philips Avent sterilizer or by boiling.

These comfort breast shells fit snugly into your bra to prevent chafing and provide a shield for tender nipples caused by breastfeeding. The silicone backing cushion protects from chafing, while the outer shell holds the released milk. They can be used on the non-nursing breast while feeding or pumping to ease engorgement and collect leaked milk for later use.
